About the project

The "Benson" and "Corby" houses are two affordable housing prototypes built in Omaha, NE, as part of the "OurStory" project. Developed by the UNL FACT studio in collaboration with Partners for Livable Omaha and Holy Name Housing Corp., the houses are designed to address the housing crisis and appeal to first-time buyers and those looking to downsize. The Corby House is a 802-square-foot, two-bedroom home listed for approximately $190,000, while the Benson House is a 618-square-foot, one-bedroom home listed for about $150,000.
